Graduate School of Oriental Medicine Full Time and Adjunct Faculty
New York College of Health Professions is actively seeking additional full time and adjunct faculty to join our growing institution.
Locations include: New York City (upper west side and SoHo/Chinatown) Syosset, Long Island
Faculty positions open in: 1. Oriental sciences 2. Western health sciences 3. Acupuncture 4. Herbology 5. Clinical supervision, Acupuncture
REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters Degree or terminal degree in respective field (Ph.D. preferred)
- New York State license in respective field, if applicable
- 3 to 5 years clinical and/or teaching experience
Positions require faculty to demonstrate a record of academic and administrative leadership in higher education, superior clinical, educational, interpersonal, managerial and communication skills; and dedication to academic excellence. Faculty must have a degree from a college or university that is accredited in the United States, or have a degree from an institution that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. If applicable, they must also have current appropriate licensure for the areas they are teaching. English skills a must.
Health Sciences courses include, but are not limited to, the following subjects: Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Myology I & II, Neurology, Developmental Psychology, Biology I & II, Public Health, Pathology I & II, Kinesiology and Surface Anatomy.
