Administrative Assistant
New York College of Health Professions has been a leader in Holistic Health for 30 years. New York College of Health Professions offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Massage Therapy, Advanced Asian Bodywork, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Continuing Education program for Registered Nurses, healthcare practitioners and the community.
We are currently seeking a Full Time Administrative Floater to work as administrative support within our various departments.
Floater Responsibilities (but not limited to):
•Support departments with administrative tasks, general office support. •Receive/handle multi-line switchboard calls with professional manner. •Greet guests with a courteous and professional manner. •Confirm appointments with patients and clinicians. •General office support: data entry, filing, mailings, reports, etc. •Assist with departmental tasks as needed.
Requirements:
1+ year admin/ reception experience. Proficient in MS Excel/ Word required. Must be detail oriented and have ability to multi-task. Internet, typing, filing, data entry, and multi-line switchboard phones are a must. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required.

Clinic Office Assistant Manager

We are currently seeking a Full Time Assistant Office Manager to supervise our fast -paced Academic Teaching Clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical staff
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and complete necessary reports
- Ensure staff is engaged in providing courteous and efficient customer service.
- Daily cash reconciliation.
- Oversee records regarding payments and receipts for treatment.
- Ensure patients complete necessary documentation
- Supervise appointments and treatment schedule with patients and clinicians.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree. Excellent managerial and customer service skills required. Office manager experience required; clinical office experience preferred. Candidate must demonstrate the ability for management, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and provide a proactive, hands-on aptitude. Multi-line switchboard phones are a must. Must be proficient with computer applications.

Library Assistant
This part-time Library Assistant is responsible for all general, specific, and miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Librarian. Most tasks are clerical in nature, but with increasing experience and knowledge, the Library Assistant may assist library patrons with reference questions and bibliographic instruction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Librarian with projects as required.
- Carries out circulation duties.
- Demonstrates the OPAC to patrons.
- Assists patrons with internet access and Microsoft Office
- assists with online databases
- Gives library tours.
- Logs in new acquisitions.
- Opens and closes the library.
- Notifies patrons of overdue material.
- Performs photocopying.
- Performs shelf-list inventories.
- Places reserves.
- Prepares new library material for cataloging.
- Registers new patrons.
- Schedules audio-visual equipment for faculty.
- Shelves all library items.
Education and/or Experience:
- · Prior library experience preferred.
- · An accredited Bachelor’s degree and experience in Library and Information Studies.
- · Demonstrates good computer, communication and interpersonal skills.
Language Skills:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of students, faculty, administration, patients, professional contacts, and the general public.
Computer Skills
- · Basic computer operation skills
- · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
- · Proficient with email, email attachments, downloading and uploading documents
Hours are Tue 2:30 pm -9 pm, and Thursday 5 pm -9 pm.
