President's Welcome

We warmly welcome you to New York College of Health Professions, dedicated to preparing professional leaders and practitioners in the field of Complementary/ Alternative and Integrative Medicine. With our holistic approach to education and clinical practice, we blend Eastern and Western practices in prevention and healing.

We are primarily a career-oriented educational institution, although we are venturing with other facilities to become a world leader in research and development in Integrative Medicine. We have partnered with the North Shore Hospital System in the submission of governmental research grant and are a sister College to Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the People's Republic of China. New York College owns a 35-acre facility in Lou Yang, China where our students can visit on travel/life experience trips. We teach Holistic Nursing courses at Bellevue Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center.

For our students, we are arranging both dormitory and meal plans as we expand from a regional institution to a worldwide institution. We are expanding very quickly into new areas and strive to set the standard in Integrative Medicine.

New York College is developing smart classrooms that will link to teachers in remote locations. These will also be linked to our large and newly upgraded clinics, where we will be able to get "second opinions" from experts around the world. We will also be web-casting our basic science courses to give our students greater flexibility in their hours. We offer day, evening and weekend classes for the convenience of our working students as well as full time and part time schedules.

The College's Integrative Health Center, and our Teaching Clinics offer Eastern and Western Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal consultations to patients of all ages. Our Herbal Dispensary is unique in its size and scope.
