Holistic Nursing with Western and Asian Bodywork is designed as a comprehensive study program for Registered Nurses who seek education in holistic health care with an emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Western, or Swedish, Bodywork and Asian Bodywork are effective systems of energetic and somatic manipulation utilized to balance the movement of energy within the body.
New York College of Health Professions is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Alabama State Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. The College's Holistic Nursing Program curriculum includes principles of Holistic Nursing set forth in the American Holistic Nurses Association core curriculum. The program also includes a supervised, clinical experience conducted on-site at the Academic Health Care Teaching Clinics or at one of the College's affiliated hospitals.
