Our Practitioners

The health care practitioners at the Integrative Health Center of New York College include experienced professionals who are licensed practitioners in many fields of Holistic medicine. We have practitioners whose combined experience in various Holistic health care modalities total hundreds of years and domestic and international training and clinical practice. Many of our practitioners are leaders in their respective fields, holding major offices in the national organizations that set the high quality standards for Holistic health care.

Our practitioners bring this extensive and diverse training together in a truly integrated team-oriented approach to caring for patients. They come from various disciplines and include doctors of chiropractic, licensed acupuncturists, licensed massage therapists and registered nurses. Many practitioners hold masters or doctoral degrees, are certified Amma therapists, Diplomates in Chinese herbal medicine, Diplomates in Oriental bodywork therapy, or are practitioners who hold medical degrees abroad in addition to their licensure in the United States. Most are trained far beyond what is required for certification and licensure in their respective fields.

Our practitioners engage in continuing education to keep their skills sharp and to learn new information and tools to help patients achieve wellness. In addition to their dedication to the highest level of patient care, they are committed to research that will enhance the practice of Holistic health care and help increase its availability to more and more patients.
