Teaching Clinics

As a resource for students and patients, the Academic Health Care Teaching Clinics of New York College represent the integration of health care and education. These Teaching Clinics offer Massage Therapy, Reflexology, Acupuncture, Facial Rejuvenation and Herbal Consultations at a great value to the public as the treatments are performed by senior student interns under the direct supervision of licensed, experienced health care practitioners. See for yourself why we have over 20,000 patient visits per year and have been featured on many TV segments.View the Video from Fox 5 News>>>

Please check under Treatment Options for detailed information about the various services that are available, and call 516 364-0808 x 113 to schedule an appointment in Syosset and 212 924-3706 for the Manhattan Massage Clinic located at 134 West 26th Street, 9th floor.

For the community, the clinics provide a cost-effective way for patients to benefit from preventive forms of health care and become more familiar with the principles and practices of Holistic health. All new patients should download, fill out and sign all the New Patient Intake Forms prior to their first appointment. Bring these completed, signed forms, when you come for your first appointment. This will save you time and ensure that your treatment starts on time.

For students, clinical experience is part of the required training and is completed under the guidance and supervision of licensed health care professionals. Students working in the clinics learn how to behave as professionals in a health care environment. They are exposed to the responsibilities every practitioner faces, yet retain the support system of their supervisors to guide them in the transformation from student to professional.
