Syosset’s NY College Of Health Professions Welcomes Former Child
Executive Mary Rodas to its Administration
When Mary Rodas was barely out of elementary school, she was named vice president
of marketing at one of the country’s top toy manufacturers, making her
the youngest ever executive of a major corporation. By the age of 13, she helped
develop the Balzac Balloon Ball, a product that would go on to do more than
$100 million in sales.
Rodas, a recipient of the 1999 Latina Excellence Young Entrepreneur Award
and an original inductee in the Hispanic American Hall of Fame, is
now the director of admissions at the Syosset-based New York College of Health
Professions, a leader in holistic education and care for over 20 years. She
has the important role of counseling students as they prepare to study and train
in a field that will change their lives and the lives of those they treat. To
