Grievance Policy and Procedure for Employees

The New York College of Health Professions takes all employee complaints and grievances seriously. The College is committed to ensuring that every concern is reviewed and resolved in a timely, fair, and confidential manner.

Employees who wish to file a complaint or grievance should direct their concern to the appropriate department based on the nature of the issue:

Academic Issues

For concerns related to academic matters, including faculty and coursework, employees should contact their Department Chair or Program Dean.

Policy and Procedure Issues

For concerns related to institutional policies and procedures, employees should contact the Human Resources Office.

Title IX Complaints

For complaints involving sex-based discrimination, harassment, or related conduct under Title IX, employees should contact the Title IX Coordinator or the Title IX Deputy. For full Title IX contact information, visit the Title IX page.

All complaints and grievances will be reviewed and resolved accordingly. Employees are assured that no retaliatory action will be taken against any individual for filing a grievance in good faith.
