On September 16, 2026, New York College of Health Professions welcomed a delegation from the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange of the Ministry of Education, including Director Yu Changxue and division directors Li Tingting and Tang Xiaofei. The delegation was joined by Education Counselor Yu Yougen and Education Consul Gui Ling of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in New York.
The visit included a campus tour and the signing of a memorandum of understanding. NYCHP President Dr. A Li Song and three members of the Board of Trustees attended, together with Dr. Lombardi, Dr. Lesmah, Dr. Yuan, College leadership, and members of the academic team.
A Focus on Education and Exchange
During the visit, the delegation toured NYCHP’s instructional and clinical-training facilities and learned about the College’s work in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine education, professional preparation, and international academic exchange. Under the memorandum, the parties intend to pursue cooperation in the preparation of internationally oriented Chinese medicine professionals, people-to-people exchange between young people in China and the United States, and the sharing of educational resources.
